Location: Lahore, Pakistan | Type: Full-time, Onsite | Experience: 3–4 Years
ROLE SUMMARY
We are hiring a Technical Content Writer and Marketing Specialist who can translate complex engineering and AI work into compelling content for international audiences. You will own our social media presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook, produce daily LinkedIn content, write copy for client project pages and our company website, and support marketing efforts that position Innovation Insight as a serious technical partner — not just another IT services company.
This role requires two distinct capabilities that most candidates have only one of: the ability to understand technical subject matter well enough to write about it accurately, and the ability to write in a voice that non-technical decision-makers find engaging and credible. If your portfolio is only blog posts, or only social captions, this is not the right fit.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Technical Writing
3–4 years of content writing experience with a meaningful portion focused on technical subject matter — software development, SaaS, AI, or technology services
Ability to write accurately about technical topics without a computer science degree — you should be able to read a product brief, ask the right questions, and produce content that does not embarrass the engineers who built the thing
Experience writing website copy for technology companies or digital products: service pages, case studies, landing pages, and about sections that convert, not just inform
Experience writing project or product documentation, proposal summaries, or capability statements for client-facing purposes
Strong command of written English — grammar, structure, tone, and clarity at a level appropriate for international B2B audiences
Social Media Management
Proven experience managing LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook for a company or brand — not personal accounts. You should have managed a content calendar, not just posted occasionally
Ability to produce daily LinkedIn content consistently: thought leadership posts, project highlights, team culture content, industry commentary, and engagement-driving formats
Understanding of what performs on each platform — LinkedIn content strategy is not the same as Instagram content strategy; you should know the difference and apply it
Experience with social media scheduling and management tools: Buffer, Hootsuite, Later, or equivalent
Ability to repurpose long-form content (case studies, blog posts, project write-ups) into platform-appropriate social formats without losing substance
Basic graphic sensibility — comfortable working with Canva or similar tools to produce post visuals, or briefing a designer clearly when original assets are needed
Communication & Collaboration
Strong verbal communication skills in English — you will need to extract technical information from engineers and developers who do not naturally think about content, and build productive working relationships with them
Ability to interview team members, extract project narratives, and turn them into content without putting words in people's mouths inaccurately
Self-directed and organised — you will be managing a content calendar independently and are expected to plan, draft, and publish without being chased for every post
Comfortable receiving feedback on writing from technical and non-technical stakeholders and iterating quickly without taking it personally
Ability to adapt tone and register: from a formal client case study to a casual LinkedIn post to a professional website service page — all in the same week
Problem Solving & Content Strategy
Ability to look at a company's work and identify the stories worth telling — not waiting to be assigned topics but proactively surfacing content opportunities from ongoing projects, team milestones, and industry developments
Comfortable working with an editorial calendar and managing content pipeline without letting it go stale or repetitive
Analytical enough to review what content is performing and adjust strategy accordingly — using platform analytics, not gut feel alone
Resourceful when facing content gaps: able to produce relevant, accurate content about AI, software development, and tech services even when the internal team is too busy to brief you thoroughly
WHAT YOU WILL OWN
Daily LinkedIn content creation and publishing — posts that represent Innovation Insight credibly to international clients, potential hires, and industry peers
Full social media calendar management across LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook — planning, scheduling, publishing, and monitoring engagement
Website copy: service pages, project case studies, team and company pages, and landing pages as new offerings are developed
Content for client project proposals and capability documents — working with the CTO and project leads to produce polished written materials
Blog and long-form content production on a defined cadence — covering AI, software development, and technology services topics relevant to our client verticals
Community management: monitoring comments, responding to engagement, and maintaining a consistent brand voice across platforms
Monthly content performance reporting — platform analytics, post performance, follower growth, and recommendations for the following month
Coordinating with the engineering and design team to surface content-worthy project milestones, product launches, and technical achievements
GOOD TO HAVE
SEO experience: keyword research, on-page optimisation, meta descriptions, and structuring content for search — applied to real pages, not just theoretically understood
Experience with WordPress, Webflow, or similar CMS platforms for publishing website content independently
Familiarity with email marketing: newsletter writing, campaign copy, and basic platform experience (Mailchimp, Brevo, or similar)
Video script writing or experience producing short-form video content for social media
Prior experience working with or writing about AI, fintech, edtech, or ecommerce products
Experience with AI writing and research tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Jasper, or similar) used to accelerate output without replacing craft
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU
You will be onsite in Lahore. We expect you to take ownership of our external voice — which means you need to care about quality, consistency, and accuracy equally. A post that misrepresents our technical capabilities to an international audience is worse than no post at all. We will give you access to the team, the projects, and the leadership — your job is to turn that access into content that builds the company's reputation.
LinkedIn in particular is a direct channel to our client base. Daily posting is not a target we set lightly — we expect it to be met with content that is worth reading, not content that fills a quota.
